Need a way to sand out the small holes in some of your balsa or ply parts. use a small dowel
like 1/8 or 3/16 in size. Trim and wrap a piece of 100 grit sand paper around the top of the dowel.
Use CA to glue in place. Works great for removing extra wood for a better fit.

a piece of scrap 1/8 plywood, cut pieces into 1/4, 1/8, and 3/16 etc. strips, about 6 inches long in size. Wrap
the top portion with 80 or 100 grit sand paper depending on wether you are sanding balsa or ply. Use CA to glue

3. This tip comes in from Raymond Antonio:
Another great tool for sanding is to use emory boards. They can
be purchased from any dollar store. The pack usually has 10-12 boards of different grit and sizes with the abrasive on both
sides. Perfect for detail sanding and only costs a buck per package. Thank you Raymond .
